Friends of the Library

Do you love books and the library? Help support your library by joining the Friends of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library today!
The Friends of the Library is the volunteer support group for the Jeffersonville Township Public Library and is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3). Contributions made directly to the Friends are tax deductible and are used to provide discretionary grants to the Library. Tax deductible contributions may be made directly to the Jeffersonville Township Public Library.

Friends’ Membership and book sales have enabled Friends of the Library to financially assist the library to:

  • Serve over 1400 children and 400 adults in the summer reading program in 2014
  • Provide materials for the children’s library in Clarksville
  • Provide resources for the Family Fun Day at the library
  • Provide support to the library staff

Membership

Membership runs from July 1st to June 30th. There are three membership rates:

Single: $5 / year Download an application
Family: $10 / year
Individual Life Membership: $75

You can turn in your membership application and dues to any staff member at either library location, or you can mail it in to:

Book Sale


The Friends of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library now hosts a Book Sale 4 times a month:

2nd Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
2nd Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
4th Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
4th Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

The Book Sale Room is located in the basement of the Main Library. You can access it via the south lobby stairs or elevator.
