We are working with the software company to resolve the issue and will update this website and our social media channels as soon as things are ready to reopen. No Adult Education (GED) classes this week
The Adult Education instructor is on vacation and so the GED/HSE classes offered at the Jeffersonville library are cancelled this week, November 8 – 12.

New Makerspace hours
Due to changes in staffing, the following new permanent Makerspace hours will begin on Thursday, August 12:
| Mondays | 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. |
| Tuesdays | 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. |
| Wednesdays | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. |
| Thursdays | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. |
| Fridays | 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. |
| Saturdays | 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. |
We’re looking forward to offering these expanded hours and hope to see you in the Makerspace soon!
Job Fair & More on Thursday!
Are you looking for a job? Join us this Thursday, July 15th in the staff parking lot at the Main Library from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for a free Job Fair! Our fair features representatives from the following organizations:
- Surge Staffing
- Bridges of Indiana
- Sunrise Recovery
- WorkOne Southern Indiana
- Community Action of Southern Indiana
- LifeSpring
- Barber Academy
There will also be representatives from the Library available to answer questions about job searching and resume building, as well as a pop-up genealogy table and free plants and seeds to promote our new Seed Library.
There’s fun for everyone with the free sunscreen from Clark Memorial Hospital; a book sale with the Friends of the Library; a police car and fire truck on display for the kids; and the Rolling Pin Pin food truck available to purchase lunch!

Cultural Pass Day on 7/24
Calling all kids ages 0-21! Bring your Cultural Pass and meet us at the Falls of the Ohio State Park this Saturday, July 24 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for Cultural Pass Day! There will be live performances and booths from lots of different Cultural Pass venues (including the Library).
Don’t have your Cultural Pass yet? You can sign up online and then come by either library location to pick up your physical Pass. Remember to bring it with you to Cultural Pass Day and any other venues you visit this summer!
