Cultural Pass goes through September 4!

Our Summer Reading Club may be over for this year but the Cultural Pass is still going through Sunday, September 4!

The Cultural Pass is a program that allows youth ages 0-21 to visit more than 50 arts and cultural venues in Kentuckiana for FREE! Youth can pick up their Pass from the Youth Services Department in Jeffersonville or the Clarksville library. You can register on Beanstack ahead of time but make sure to come to the library to get your physical pass or you won’t be able to use it.

Libby collection now part of Indiana Digital Library

As of Friday, March 11, our Libby/OverDrive collection has merged with a large consortium of libraries called the Indiana Digital Library. We are excited for this change because it gives our patrons access to a much larger collection of ebooks, digital audiobooks, and digital magazines from nearly 200 libraries across the state! The Indiana State Library will be paying the platform hosting fees for the group, which means that we can use 100% of our local library funds to purchase ebooks and audiobooks.

How To Update Your Libby App

  1. Open the Libby app on your mobile device and tap the center Menu button
  2. Under “Your Libraries”, tap the Add Library link
  3. Search for “Indiana Digital Library”
  4. Tap on Sign In With My Card
  5. It will ask “Where do you use your library card?”
    1. If you have previously used Libby with your JTPL library card, you may see Jeffersonville Township Public Library at the top of your list
    2. If not, tap on 198 MORE and scroll down the alphabetical list of libraries until you find Jeffersonville Township Public Library
  6. Enter your JTPL library card number and PIN
    • Your PIN is normally the last 4 digits of your phone number, but you can call us if you aren’t sure and we can reset it for you
  7. That’s it! Enjoy the huge new selection of ebooks, eAudiobooks, and digital magazines!
