Americans with Disabilities Act Notice

The Jeffersonville Township Public Library is committed to serving people with disabilities in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

JTPL will provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective, accessible communication for people with varying types of disabilities.

JTPL will also make any reasonable modifications to policies and procedures to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy library programs, services, and activities. None of these accommodations will result in a fee or other surcharge to the user.

Because the library cannot anticipate all accommodations that may be needed, individuals who require special services or policy modifications are requested to contact the Executive Assistant as far in advance as possible. The Executive Assistant may be reached by telephone at 812-285-8601 or email at accommodations@jefflibrary.org.

The ADA does not require the library to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.
