General Information Pertaining to All Library Materials
- Patrons with a valid JTPL card may check out library materials. Parents or legal guardians who do not want their children to check out certain library materials should advise their children accordingly.
- Patrons with a Computer Use Card are unable to check out library materials.
- Library patrons may check out a maximum of 50 items on their card.
- Printed materials (Books, Magazines, etc.), Audiobooks, Video Games, Music, and Movies (DVD, Blu-Ray) items check out for a period of 21 days.
- Printed materials may be extended or renewed two (2) times for 21 days for each renewal. Materials may be renewed in-person, by phone or online. Items on hold for other patrons cannot be renewed.
- Indiana History Room materials, newspapers, and Reference materials do not circulate.
Book-Drops
Book and Media drops are open 24 hours a day at the Jeffersonville and Clarksville libraries.
Circulation of Materials
The chart below lists the current Loan Policy for JTPL patrons. Library patrons may check out a maximum of 50 items on their card. This can be a maximum of 50 books, or a combination of books with other materials that total up to 50 items. Please note, Non-book materials, however, have limits.
