Now open for Curbside Service ONLY

The Jeffersonville Township Public Library locations are now offering enhanced curb-side services.

Both buildings will remain closed to the public, but patrons will have access to library collections starting Tuesday, December 1st by using curbside service.

This service will be available at both the Jeffersonville and Clarksville locations Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you miss being able to browse our shelves, give us a call and we’ll try to put together a grab-bag of books just for you to match your reading preferences.

To help combat the “winter slide” for kids, we will launch our first Winter Reading Club on Beanstack on Thursday, December 10, as well as launching new take-home craft kits for families to enjoy together. More details about the Winter Reading Club are coming soon.

As always, anyone with a valid library card is able to use any of our remotely accessible online resources. You can view the full list here, as well as all kinds of media available to download or stream for free with your library card.

What if I don’t have a library card?

You can sign up for a temporary library card online by filling out this form. That number will let you use services like Hoopla, Libby, Freegal, and more. Just remember to bring your photo ID and proof of address once the library is open again so we can get you a permanent card, otherwise your card will expire in 6 months.

What if I forgot my library card number?

You can contact us through the Ask A Librarian form or our chat widget – located in the bottom right corner of the screen on our website – and we can look your card number up.

What if I forgot my PIN?

Your default PIN is the last four (4) digits of the phone number you used when registering for a library card. If you don’t remember what that was, ask us and we can reset it for you.
