This page contains links to the library’s collection of online database subscriptions, organized by subject. While all of these resources are available to use at both branches of the library, use the following key to see if the database has any licensing restrictions to access it:
| Available only within the library | |
| Available anywhere by entering your JTPL library card number! | |
| Available to Indiana residents through INSPIRE. See the INSPIRE FAQ for more information. | |
| Available to anyone, anywhere! |
Please note that INSPIRE is provided by the Indiana State Library for Indiana Residents only and uses geolocation based on your IP address to determine whether or not you are a resident. Unfortunately many of our local Internet Service Providers in Southern Indiana are actually based in Louisville, which means our IP address shows us as being in Kentucky rather than Indiana. In order to access INSPIRE resources from your home, you will need to create a free account by going directly to inspire.in.gov from your home computer and clicking the link in the yellow banner at the top of the page that says “Indiana Residents please log in for full access to INSPIRE.” Please look at the INSPIRE FAQ or contact the Indiana State Library at inspire@library.in.gov for assistance.
