Join us on Thursday, January 24 at 4:00 p.m. at the Clarksville Branch for our ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the completion of our expansion and renovation project!
A brief program will take place from 4:00 – 4:30 p.m., followed by the open house which will go until 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. All members of the community are invited to come see the fabulous changes that have taken place through the partnership between Kovert Hawkins Architects and Koetter Construction.
With the expansion, the Clarksville Branch now has three rooms that can be used by the community for meetings, two of which have a kitchenette, as well as the addition of three private study rooms. The Town of Clarksville Redevelopment Commission donated $75,000 which was used to purchase new technology equipment for the Clarksville Branch. The Duke Energy Foundation donated $15,000 to establish a rain garden, and Stemler Plumbing also made a donation. The new technology equipment includes the addition of new computers for adults, teens, and children, new self-check kiosks, and a mobile technology lab so that computer classes can be presented at the Clarksville Branch. The interior decorating at the Clarksville Branch Library gives it a fresh and vibrant look that our patrons will enjoy.
